It came to me last night, a tool does not have to be perfect for God’s work to be done. God’s work could be done regardless. Mystics wrote about God choosing certain people. I no longer believe in that. I believe we all have capacity for it. It is more a matter of – if we are receptive or not. Being receptive is the good soil Jesus talked about. Jesus, Buddha, they enrich my life, the teachings compliment each other, love, loving kindness, compassion, detachment from things on earth, looking ahead to life after.
