Two days ago, someone told me I am amazing. I was going to say thank you when something told me he could take it – I went with my gut instinct and agreed with him instead, I went, “I am amazing…” Humility is truth. In some areas I am not, in some areas I am and I know it. Later I did wonder if that was off putting.

On another topic and entirely different. One my sisters have problem understanding some accent. I told her she should listen to local Texans talking. One would think they are talking a different language than English. Arriving at Dallas airport – I always get hit with that Texan accent. I would listen to the announcements and drew a complete blank.

One day I was on air listening to two men talking animatedly. When they stopped for a moment, I asked them curiously, “Are you Dutch?”

No, both of them were from Oklahoma.
