This morning walking, I found myself reflecting on humility again.
When we do something, there is that self congratulatory voice telling
us we do very well. It is what Catholic calls pride. It is was what
causes that ugly head of pride to rear its head. It is what causes us
to be not so centered. Centered, what is that, I mused? It came,
centered is being grounded in truth. That was a moment of
enlightenment for me. I never saw centered as being due to truth, I
saw it as being centered in God. When we are centered in God. we are
centered in ourselves kind of thing but centered in truth…. it takes
some mulling.
