Jealousy and envy. Both appears the same with a world of difference between them. Jealousy makes us wish the other does not have the thing, while with envy, we do not necessarily wish the other does not have that thing, we wish we have it also. Hence while jealousy is negative, envy can be positive, driving us to achieve what we covet.
